WHAT WE WILL DO

We aim to operate a dairy farm in Panamá. Implementing existing European technologies and North American output farming practices to become the most efficient milk producer in the region. The plan is to buy 175 hectare working farm with 150 milking cows in the Bouquete district of Panamá  The climate and conditions align themselves perfectly with productive and modern farming practices, the region has experienced an increase in hydroponic greenhouse and arable crop farming.
Our project involves increasing the existing herd size increasing from 150 to 5000 cows in 5 years implementing modern farming practices to increase daily yields per cow from 17 to 35 litres of milk. moreover, we seek to implement sophisticated nutrition analysis and feed monitoring allowing each cow to have a personalised diets led by her specific nutritional requirements that cover her own maintinance and growth

COW MONITORS

cows when born or purchased to the farm will be given a cow monitor this is to help monitor its health movements and intakes weigh and daily production yields. this allows us to resolve any issues early in its stages before a cow can develop any form of illness or lameness and allows us to calibrate its dietary needs thru-out its lactation.

AGRONOMY

crops that will be grown on the farm will be utilized to form the dietary requirements for the farms residents. we will utilize different practices and different crops to support all animal requirements.
this will be achieved thru a team of experts along with monitoring sensors and automated irrigation equipment and crop data scanning that will monitor crop establishment, crop growths applications to support the different crop growths right up to harvest, fermentation, drying and storage.

SATISFYING DIETARY NEEDS

all crops grown will be grown to a high standard utilizing precision agriculture practices to the most out of every inch ensuring bumper harvests while at the same time reducing wastage and cost at every opportunity. from controlled traffic management, crop rotation utilizing farm waste to maintain strong organic matter in the soil we stay ahead of the competition.

ROBOTIC NUTRITION FEEDERS

we will utilize robotic feeders to help sustain a healthy appetite and maintain a fresh feed at ease of reach at all times. these robots will be installed from year 2 until year 5 to support the development of the project and too support the development of the herds nutritional needs

ROBOTIC MILKERS

these robots allows the cow to decide the time when milking is carried out thus allowing yields to be increased along with milking with average milking intervals being 2.65 daily average. we can monitor milk yields milk quality and weigh and diet plan of every cow on farm.

ROBOTIC CLEANERS

the care of the cows is paramount to the farms protocols. the hygeine standards of the cow sheds will be kept to a very high standard robotic cleaners will work 24 hours a day maintaining the sheds clean and reducing the possibilites of any infections.

GRASS COLLECTOR

zero grazing will be done on the farm to allow a desert substitute along with the T.M.R mix ration this given in the form of a booster feed and treat.

CROP HUSBANDRY

being able to understand the needs and requirements of the soil is just as important as understanding the requirements of the animals that we provide for. that is why with a combined experience of over 40 years in crop management and grassland management that why we progress above are competition in farming practices and practices that are utilized the world over to gain higher yields and high protein feeds. all land can be farmed when given to the right farmer.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

as we will be utilizing variable strategies to reduce chemical applications from crop rotations to organic matter reinforcing thru applications or both liquid and solid applications manure thru pre pre cultivation and post emergence crops. liquid applications will be carried out via direct injection or dribble are system to accomplish an even application and reduce odors of surrounding areas.
